Is this public event performance also listed on a city website? I don’t find it on the Downtown Summer Sounds web schedule for 7/22. Will there be a dance floor?
The exact details are being finalized and I should know more tomorrow. Our event is not a part of the Downtown Summer Sounds and is sponsored by a different entity. Our director is meeting with them tomorrow. However, it does take place at Westlake Park and I assume that we will be using the same stage and facilities as the other events. If there is a dance floor there for other events, I would assume it will remain there for our performance. I wish I could give you more details, but this was sort of a late booking and we won’t have final details until tomorrow. I will follow up as soon as I have more info.
As follow-up, the event is sponsored by the Downtown Seattle Association after all. Hopefully, they will update their website and promotional materials soon. We assume that the stage, places for dancing, etc., will be the same as for other music events.
